Fernando Martinez earned his license as a Texas Real Estate Agent in 1983 and is assisted by his wife Wendy. In 1973, he began acquiring his Journeyman's Carpenter license, a four year program, which he completed in 1977. As a real estate agent, he sold new homes in The Woodlands in 1983. Shortly thereafter until 2000, he and his wife Wendy operated a successful remodeling and home building practice in The Woodlands area. Fernando has been a Texas Real Estate Commission licensed home inspector since 1990 and is also a certified building code inspector by the International Code Council. He works as an inspector with his wife Wendy and their daughter Elissa, and they are all three licensed home inspectors from the Texas Real Estate Commission and licensed Mold Assessment Consultants from the Texas Department of State Health Services. He and Wendy are also certified stucco inspectors from the Exterior Design Institute. Fernando serves as an expert witness in mold litigation and as a licensed consultant to mold remediation companies. Fernando's experience in remodeling, building and inspecting homes enables him to have a knowledge unmatched by other agents and professionals in the field. Fernando's family roots hail back to Spain, and his favorite Spanish dish is a traditional Paella, which fortunately for him is his wife's famous specialty for which she is known to take an entire day or more to prepare. Fernando and Wendy enjoy life together in Spring and frequent the finest authentic Spanish restaurants in the city. They work together with Elissa across the entire Houston metropolitan area and are widely recognized in the industry as the region's top experts in their fields. |
